This is the Android-aware policy for the camera app. Hosted for Play Console.

Who we are
Composition Guide is a ghost-and-pose overlay camera for composition coaching. It is developed as a personal/indie app (contact: the Play Console email set after signup).
What the app does with camera and photos
- Camera is used for the live viewfinder. Permission is requested at launch. If you deny it, you can stay in mock mode (static preview) and still browse overlays.
- Composition overlays (ghosts, pose silhouettes, grids, preset artwork) are bundled in the app. They are rendered on-device.
- Captures stay in app memory until you clear them or leave the process. They are not uploaded by the camera shutter.
- Save to gallery writes a JPEG to your device’s Pictures folder (
CompositionGuide) only when you tap download in the in-app gallery. - Reference overlay uses a photo you pick with the system picker. That image is shown locally as an overlay.
The app does not measure force, body metrics, or medical data. Overlays are visual guides only.
Accounts
There is no account and no sign-in.
Collection and sharing (current Play APK)
For the current user-reachable camera APK we do not collect or share Play-listed user data types with the developer:
- No analytics, crash, ads, or billing SDKs
- No developer backend receives your camera frames or gallery saves
- No location permission
Research Place and Pose Coach exist as unused camera-chrome code (Pose Coach would send a resized JPEG only if you used that panel and a reachable API). Those panels are not on the first-run HUD of this APK. If they are enabled later with a production server, this policy and Play Data safety will be updated before that release.

Not directed at children. No age-gated social features.
Changes
We will update this document when collection practices change (for example if Pose Coach is turned on with a production API, or if ads/IAP ship). The Play Data safety form must match the shipped AAB.
